Knowledge Translation Plans

The process of knowledge translation takes evidence and uses it to inform policy and practice. In Health TAPESTRY, knowledge translation should be considered throughout the project timeline. Things to consider:

  • Who the audience is (e.g., community members, funders, clinicians, other researchers)
  • What result you hope sharing the information will have (e.g. uptake? behaviour change?)
  • Resources that you will need to reach your goal
  • How your message will need to be adapted based on your community (e.g. target audience, the population you are working with, the geographical layout of your community)
  • See the Knowledge Translation section for a more detailed description of the process
