The process of knowledge translation takes evidence and uses it to inform policy and practice. In Health TAPESTRY, knowledge translation should be considered throughout the project timeline. Things to consider:
- Who the audience is (e.g., community members, funders, clinicians, other researchers)
- What result you hope sharing the information will have (e.g. uptake? behaviour change?)
- Resources that you will need to reach your goal
- How your message will need to be adapted based on your community (e.g. target audience, the population you are working with, the geographical layout of your community)
- See the Knowledge Translation section for a more detailed description of the process
